If I would have waited for this I would have lost
About $200,000 and and the same home would now be $1000 more a month. Of course I bought my home at the rock bottom of the market and wanted to get in when the prices were low. We barely scrapped together 5% and took a risk. 2 years later we refinanced out of mortgage insurance and now 4 years later we have almost 200k equity in our home. Best financial decision I have ever done.
