I completely agree with this. Take whatever two they want (hopefully BYU) now

and leave room to grow once the GOR's expire. Maybe the Big 12 is the first to 16? But getting 6 teams (almost half a conference) to jump on a sinking ship isn't at all realistic. Getting 2 to defect is MORE realistic. However, NO ONE will view the Big 12 as a safe landing spot unless they have at least 12 members.
