cord cutting a real thing?
Would like a real response since this is an actual real thing to you and maybe others...I've never thought about cord cutting, in fact i've only added programming specifically sports packs as I've got older and upped my DTV DVR system to the 1k hours genie. for only $150/mo'ish i'm getting full sports pack, HBO, NFL sunday ticket & MLB extra innings packages.

As far as I know many of these things are not all available along with the local stations outside of cable or satellite? And if they are can you DVR them to avoid advertisements? I've attempted to stream a few things here and there but you end up seeing a million adds and its difficult to FF and RW things without buffering etc. It frustrates me to the point to where it's not worth watching. The only things I attempt to stream now are movies from amazon or DTV's cinema suite.

I keep hearing on CB about cord cutting, yet I'm not sure as a sports fan I'd be able to do it nor have I ever met anyone in my life that has done that or at least talked about it. Maybe i'm in the wrong demographic for cord cutters...here is my demo: 37yo Male outside of college I've never lived in Utah. My life has been spread out in these markets for the larger chunks: Seattle/Cincinnati/Dallas/Las Vegas. I have a BS & Doctorate and a solid career. Live for all things sports and watch A LOT of games but NEVER EVER live. I refuse to watch things live. I'm also on the young end of GenX I guess so I never took to social media, to me its too much drama so I don't have or use it with the exception that I do have twitter only and I only use it to follow my sports teams absolutely no pictures or regular people on there. Look at it about 1x a day after work.
