Not going to happen. They do not have religion built into the formula like everyone here wants. The metrics being used are 65% regional for market. It's a no-win for them to take BYU. New York market or spread out. You also have a commissioner that dislikes BYU. He was very adamant on not adding BYU when the pac ten was expanding while he was at Stanford. I don't want the big12 personally. I dislike the unprofessional conduct. I prefer to stay neutral in all of this. I believe more realignment is coming and a possible financial bubble crash on college athletics is going to be one of them. Most colleges right now are cutting budgets left an right. You see many schools like TAMU that added onto their stadium and turned it into a national treasure but their admin, mathematics, Language arts, and performing arts all took a combined 40 million dollar budget cut. They are all walking this fine line and once a network stops paying, there goes the whole college as a whole. We already saw ESPN ask for a reduction to the SEC. Cord cutting continues!!! It's a real thing.
