Do you get to a point in undergrad where you have a pretty decent idea of
How strong an applicant you are? By third year of college, based off the grades I had earned in my classes, I was highly confident that I was going to get into grad school. Is it this way with medicine? 3.8ish gpa type of confidence.

Actually, this is a really good point. Dating in med school and residency is pretty much impossible.
