If only it were just in MY mind. There is plenty of talk
from the other side that shows that it is a very possible stumbling block. The conference and the schools themselves will never come right out and say it though.
If BYU were so far superior to the other choices for the Big 12, they would be part of the Big 12 by now. The Sunday play may be just enough of an inconvenience to work around that they would rather not make the special exceptions and go with another institution-just as they have done before.

Sunday play was never a problem for the WAC, MWC and WCC but suddenly it's a huge problem for the Big12?

BYU was the big fish in the little pond in the WAC and MWC. WCC was hppy to oblige to get BYU in the conference.
