A childhood ASU fan, and a BYU/Auburn fan. ASU did the same thing in the early 80's. They were going to storm the PAC-10. They bragged and boasted about how close they were to playing the Rose Bowl. Now they are average. Utah has nothing that ASU doesn't have with regards to resources. What is on a high note will hit a low note.

I think that Utah will make noise every 15 years, just like BYU. 1984, 1996, 2009. Having a recruiting class in the 30's does not equal National Championships. Auburn is in the top 10 in recruiting every year, and they have down years. You are drinking too much of the red cool aid. I am not saying that you couldn't win a championship.

I am saying that if it doesn't happen in the first ten years that you will deflate just like everyone else. Even if you win a championship you will eventually collapse just like the UCLA's and Washington's of the world.
