expect Utah to be special a lot more often than every 15 years. BYU had one good win because Bradford went down and 2 ok wins against Utah and OSU. They finished ranked, but they would have struggled against a real schedule. 2004, 2008 and 2015 for Utah we're better than anything BYU has done this century. ASU would have beaten BYU most every year of the last 20, just like they did in the old WAC. They have waaay too much speed for BYU.

My hope for Utah is to compete fairly often (like last year) and break thru once in a while. They need an effective OC in the worst way and ARod might grow into it. BYU desperately needs better athletes as witnessed by their lack of NFL players. One player invited to the combine and 1 player drafted wont cut it. Sitake may just raise the bar in recruiting - it could happen. This 1st year will be tough with inexperienced coaches and a tough schedule. BYU will need to show some patience while losing.
