Rather than create a competition about who among the LP3 is best, or whether Dastrup is a better prospect than Childs,
the bigger question might be how will these 7 gifted freshmen and sophomores jell and how will they serve to bring one another along towards their foreordanied storied team destiny.

The RM trio of Payton Dastrup, T.J. Haws, and Eric Mika have been walking the streets of Panama, France, and Italy for 2 years. The first good question might not be which player is best, but how quickly or how slowly each of these unique individuals respond to the rigors of getting into basketball shape, both mentally and physically.

One more thing in the FWIW category. It may be time for the LP3 identity to be eased a bit. They were fabulous and awe-inspiring. But now there are at least 3 other incoming players with equal talent, and optimal performance for the team requires a new blend.

The dream is alive and well. Sooner or later, we will get there.
