Everyone who looks at data knows WCC was much stronger in 2014, 2015, and very slightly weaker in 2016. Trend favors WCC
MWC is on a downward slope while the WCC is getting relatively stronger.
My guess is WCC will be ranked 9th again next year for the 3rd time in 4 years while the MWC will be double digits for the 4th straight year.
So yes, the WCC is stronger than the MWC in basketball.
