Not that it would matter much. I spent my HS years in Ohio in the Dayton market. But our house antennae still picked up 3 of the 4 Cincinnati channels clearly and 3 of the 4 Columbus channels clearly. I wasn't aware Cincinnati had a football team but I did know they played basketball.

Everything was tOSU, Michigan, ND or Michigan St...

They were very unlikely even in their Big East years they made BCS bowls to have won their own market over any game played by any of the 4 listed above. Let alone other nationally relevant teams...
