In fairness I think going to a BCS game is more recent achievement than a NC from 30+ years ago, so I understand that argument. Although I would make the argument that BYU has been consistently very solid since the 80s. A few down years, but very consistent overall.

These other programs can't even touch our consistency over the last 30 years. You can't build a program based on 1 BCS appearance surrounded by largely mediocre seasons other than that.
