The stats I showed say nothing on 50/50 throws.
Just that Tanner had higher percentages of games where he was better than opposing passing defenses than Taysom was.
Both are highly skilled QBs. It's too bad Taysom didn't stay healthy last year which led to the two best QBs on the BYU roster in 8 years being ready to start and both battle tested at the same time. It's too bad they couldn't have been more spread out.
I think both will play. I think you have to get your best 11 on the field as much as possible.
