Your interpretation of that quote isn't anymore correct than mine. You think he
is saying one thing because you believe so badly that we are already engaged to the Big XII.
I hear a guy saying that he contacted the big 12 to express interest and would even be willing to do football only in order to join the league. My interpretation of that is "we're not in yet. But we're being flexible so we can join the league."
