He's just trying to seem like an objective journalist that isn't a homer of his

alma mater. Come on, guys. This isn't what he really thinks / feels. He's trying to seem like he's thought it out critically and has formed his own opinion. If he listed BYU as #11 everyone would just call him a homer and say his opinion was completely biased. This is his way of trying to slip BYU some credit without being obvious.
