Not sure how well he played, but there was a story about him that I'll never forget. When he was a senior, he apparently went to Bronco and said he wanted to give up his backup spot so the next guy could get some reps and experience. He recognized that as a senior backup QB, he wasn't going to the NFL and he didn't need the reps. But the younger guy (I think it was Riley Nelson) would need that experience, because he was positioned to become the next starter. Respect.
