I've been following the USGA group that is a LGBTQ group for BYU students, or students in Provo in general. This is a group that is fair in their approach and I actually hope for that group, and that group alone, that they get what they deserve.

At the end of the day, these are people... and while the lifestyle and choices made don't align completely with the church, honesty and love do and I do think allowing them to be open in a relationship, while adhering to the same exact rules that are held to every student at BYU concerning relationships, isn't going to kill or hurt the church or damage any reputation at all. We allow other people of other faiths on our campus... they preach their faith on our campus... and we don't blink an eye about it. We shouldn't here either.

I don't care about the BIGXII anymore, I don't care about Athlete Ally or the other groups that are glorified hate groups and actually do more damage to the LGBTQ community than help it. But I do think that BYU needs to loosen it more up for the LGBTQ students at BYU.
