You could not be more wrong. All the Big 12 needs from BYU is political cover. That's all any of this is - a bunch
of silly politics. You think it's about appeasing LGBT? Are you serious? Don't be naive. The Big 12 could care less about the LGBT whining - they just need a political cover so that adding BYU is explainable. No cover, sorry BYU.
It BYU removed reference to LGBT stuff in HC and just referenced no sex before marriage and no PDA on campus (for anyone) Big 12 would be able to hurry and announce BYU and say that BYU respected expressed concerns, made changes and we're all moving on - next question.
