Yes, and if KSU prohibited LDS students from attending, that would be actionable
But that's not what's happening. KSU's student government is criticizing another institution of higher learning for what they consider discriminatory practices. There's no prior restraint (BYU is still as free as ever to do whatever they want, regardless of what KSU's student government says), there's not even any discrimination, as the KSU student government doesn't get to make any of these decisions. The Big 12 can invite you or fail to invite you, and there will be no first amendment issue at play.
