Then these KSU students are exercising their first amendment rights.
They're speaking up to point out that they don't like BYU's policies, regardless of whether they're based on a religious belief or not. This is the first amendment in action, so claiming that KSU's students speaking up about BYU is a violation of the first amendment is actually accomplishing the opposite of a "free marketplace of ideas". They didn't miss out on their education of the first amendment, they're living it.
