the QBs to develop. Usually the pattern was they learned the offense as undergrads for a couple of years and then as Jr/Sr were able to start after having been groomed. Detmer was the exception, but I remember Nielsen, Wilson, McMahon, Young, Bosco, etc - all had a couple of years of learning before they were given the reins and expected to be productive. This is Tanner's first year of learning the offense. He'll be fine.
