Summers in either place are great, and CFD in Cheyenne is amazing. But 7 months
out of the year it's no fun being anywhere in SE Wyoming. It's cold, insanely windy ALL THE TIME and you're 90 minutes from the nearest real city (with real shopping/restaurants etc), but the highways close constantly keeping you from getting out....
I still hunt down there occasionally, but you'd have to pay me a lot to live in Cheyenne. You'd have to pay me Zuckerberg-type money to live in Laramie again.
