Are there self righteous BYU fans? YES. We've all met those guys. But to say everyone is like that is just not fair.
Does BYU have room for improvement in terms of its treatment of others including nearby schools? YES.
Are there people who are too UTAH centric and wont get out of that bubble enough? YES.

If that's what you are trying to say then I agree with you...those are places with room for improvement.

But I don't think you said it in the best way.

My opinion? I've been relatively disappointed when I hear people have the sentiment that BYU should get rid of its sports program because its an embarrassment to the church and if the players and fans cant act like members of the church then they should abolish it. If that's true they should get rid of Relief Society, Elders Quorum, Primary, Sacrament meeting...because I have seen people acting prideful and embarrassing in all of those places too. People expect BYU to act perfect and act super surprised when they are not. They are a school with human beings with weaknesses like everybody else. If you don't like BYU sports you don't have to (I think you are missing out on one of the best parts of church membership) nobody is going to force you to like BYU. I think these byu fans on CB have been awfully kind to you to be honest...you try that kind of post to another fanbase I'm not sure you get so cordial a reception.
