But basically I think it is supposed to mean they don't know what they are doing. At times they do seem a little lost, and I don't think they play all that well together right now, but calling it church ball is annoying.

Somewhere other than Utah they might call it "AAU Ball" but it means the same thing.

Back when Danny Ainge was coaching the Suns he played church ball for his ward. It was awesome but not really fair.
