milquetoast.
The last time they won a conference championship was 1998, so 18 years ago. Why would a kid want to play there? The coaches come and go through a revolving door. They've had 4 HC's in the 2000's, the best one, Dorrell, had a .771 average and was there for only 4 years.
A game at UCLA is the only away game that I've seen "fans" come in way late and then watch for about 1 quarter and then get up and leave. And there were a lot of people that did that.
They'd come in for a while, joke around with each other, make fun of the opposing team and then leave. It was like they really didn't even care about the outcome of the game. They just wanted 30-40 minutes worth of entertainment and then it was on to whatever.
Also, with that huge stadium it still looks half empty even when the attendance is 75K. I will admit though that it looks cool when the place is completely filled up . . . . . it just doesn't happen very often.
Just don't see the attraction of wanting to play there.
