My daughter goes to UCLA, she had a scholly to BYU, lifetime BYU fan
Once she got on campus and hit the ward scene she was hooked, hasn't looked back since. And we, and she, are as BYU through and through as they come.
Its a pretty great place to go to school as an 18-22 year old. Won't speak for football as don't know that experience, but the campus scene, location, academics, location, LDS scene, and location are pretty impressive.

They put a lot of kids in the NFL because they recruit well. So, go to UCLA and be part of a middling
