you brought up skin color out of left field....and guess what....
white players can play phenomenal defense, too.
Seriously---it just takes recruiting defensive minded players and establishing a defensive culture.
in 2010-11 BYU was a VERY good defensive team with a starting 5 of Jimmer, Jackson, KC, Hartsock and Davies.
also---it isn't like we can't recruit black players....we have 3 of them on our team----one of which ironically enough chose us over Wichita State.
