Half of Utah's really good starting D from two seasons ago COMBINED for just a handful of meh to decent offers. Plus look at some of their OL. Asiata had like 2 offers. Uhatafe had one other FBS offer. Dielman had lower end MWC offers and he was like 240 as a recruit. Look how he turned out.
They were right in the process of a brand new system, one where they had to learn a ton more than they were required in Anae's offense. Right in the first year of trying to get everyone stronger and up to size. Had guys jump in who shouldn't have had to that early. Lapuaho went down.
Not talented? Bull. Koroma is very, very talented. Kanuch is a very good run blocker. Lapuaho is talented. Shoaf turned out way better than people thought and didn't even have time to put much weight on. Norman got better as things went on. Eide was the worst OL out of them.
