There is typically a correlation between how highly someone is recruiting and
their talent level. Just look at how many 5 star guys end up going to the pros vs. the 2 star players. There's no question that the correlation is there with the vast majority of recruits.

Of course, there are anomalies and those players who get overlooked for whatever reason that have NFL level talent. There are plenty of examples of players who make it into the NFL who were under recruited like the tight end, DJ Tialavia (sp?), who was only offered by Utah State. Utah State was the only team to see his potential and that he indeed had the attributes to be a blocking tight end in the NFL.

Back to the players in question, Dawe was basically overmatched the majority of his college career and then became a competent player as a senior to his credit. While both Norman and Eide had theirs ups and down, I saw nothing in either of them that indicated that they can block in the NFL. Koroma maybe does have the talent to play in the NFL, but his size will likely hold him back. Kanuch is one dimensional, which probably eliminates him from getting a serious look either.

It's fine if you want to believe that our line was ultra talented players who underachieved. I think it was the inverse.
