Overall, I don't think we have had consistent really good line play in a decade. Sure, it could be quarterback related and coaching schemes but there were just too many defenders in the back field from a four man rush. While we couldn't get to the quarterback with a four man rush most of the year, most teams were having a lot of success against us. A big part of that rests with the line play. Didn't seem like we had many guys that could go 1v1 consistently without getting beat during most games. We should have 5 upperclassmen every year that are competitive to play NFL before we brag about the talent on the O-line or say that they aren't the problem. Why are we depending on Freshman every year?
