If he was an elite defender but couldn't score would you not want him on your team because he's a 1 way player?

James Harden doesn't play defense (neither did Jimmer) would you be upset if another Jimmer came around because he's a 1 way player?

If you can find an elite shooter (not just a good shooter but arguably the BEST shooter in his class) then you find a way for him on your roster just like you would if you found an elite defender that can't play offense.

It just means you have to surround the player with guys that makeup for his weakness. You put a jackson emery next to a jimmer----you put a Michael Jordan next to a steve kerr. There are a lot of scholarship spots on a team...you don't have to fill your entire roster up with offensive players (if you look at the projected roster in 2 years it has pretty good balance)
