Taylor's offense is designed to find the hole in the defense, utilizing the whole field. If that hole is the deep ball, then supposedly they will target the deep ball. Can Troy Williams hit those passes?
This isn't the same offense Utah has used in recent years. The pass/run splits will see a lot of change. The utilization of different players and all parts of the field will change. And I have to assume that with a QB coach and someone with play calling experience, the QB play and play calling will improve. But we shall see.
Your last point is the biggest question mark. It's this ugly style with close games, lots of running, excellent special teams, fresh defenses, and lower scores that has made Whit successful. Can they implement a higher powered offense without yielding too much on the other end?
