Dig in your heels and show your BYU pride each and every time. Use facts and statistics to argue your point each time and remind them each chance you get how horrible ute sports and fans really are. Or just ignore them during the football season. Contention or apathy, that's my suggestion 😂. Side note, I dated a girl who's family were also "die-hard" ute fans and I didn't marry her, and I've NEVER regretted that decision. My wife wife proudly wears royal blue! Also, I'm convinced there are two kinds of ute fans, one: went to school there and are legitimate alum who are interested (this is the smaller number of the two Groups) and second: folks who grew to hate the church and by extension BYU and suddenly become "die hard ute fans" (the more numerous of the two groups and the least educated about use sports). This last group are a joke. Super easy to make them look silly with there lack of ute sports knowledge. Which are your in laws?
