I don't think so. BYU apparently told him he can't play for BYU this year.
It's not like Bernard waited until the last moment to leave BYU with a hole.
In other words, it's not like he's leaving BYU in 2017 to hurt BYU.
And I'm not discussing whose fault it is that he wasn't going to be allowed to play for BYU in 2017.
