how do I know that Bernard won't play for BYU in 2017?
I guess I don't. I suppose there could be a miracle, but I'm sure the understanding by most people is that he will not play for BYU in 2017. The information from BYU indicated he would be asked to redshirt.
If Bernard was going to be allowed to play for BYU in 2017, there most likely wouldn't be transfer rumors. This feels a lot like a silly tangent.
