And not trying to pretend we're something we're not and be realistic it would also help be a reality check for those who hold out an unrealistic hope for a P5 invite. SDSU and BSU have shown us you can still be relevant in a G5 I don't think it's the end of the world I think many would find it refreshing to see BYU accept this and fans wouldn't be as hard on our coaches when they lose to P5 schools. I don't know if I'd call BYU a national power 1984 was special we had 96 but to say we're a national power I think FSU, ND, USC, Michigan, TX, OU, Bama, Ohio State- these are schools that come to mind when I think of national powers not BYU.
