"Conference/NCAA" constitutes 4% of a ~$60m BYU budget
The number is rounded so it's hard to tell with precision.
But you're right, that money isn't all ESPN money. A lot of it is NCAA money for tourney appearances, etc. But that money comes FROM THE WCC, in accordance with the conference distribution rules. Gonzaga and Saint Mary's have produced a lot of $$ by doing well in the NCAA bball tourney lately.
