You are really struggling with this math - Why are you multiplying 4.6MM by 6?
Each win gets 1 unit each year for the next 6 years. Each unit is up to ~260k
Each year the NCAA distributes funds based on the number of units accumulated over the previous six tournaments. In the next distribution, the WCC will have netted 25 units, paying just over 6MM to the conference from the basketball fund for tournament wins. 7 of those 25 were earned in this last tournament by St. Mary's and Gonzaga
