I wonder if ESPN and the P5 schools BYU plays are getting a lot more money at BYU's expense?

Is this INDEPENDENCE just a lot of HYPE for very little return.  Isn't it better to potentially be a MWC champion than a MEDIOCRE P5 school where you may never be bowl eligible.

Utah joined the PAC 12 south in 2010, 7 years ago and still has not won the PAC 12 South championship.  They have come close but still not there.

BYU has lost to UTAH for the last seven years but in recent years it has only been by a touchdown or less.

I think it is far more important to WIN games than it is to focus on EXPOSURE.  If you win games, you get EXPOSURE and BYU has never had a problem in attracting an audience.
