No one would be complaining about independence if we were competitive
1-3 against LSU, Utah, and Wisconsin was what many predicted for BYU at this point in the season.
It is the ugly way that we have got there this year that has people up in arms. Had we lost to LSU 14-17 and to Wisconsin 32-35, the season would have a much different feel to it; even with a 1-3 record.
I'm not sure we would be too happy about being in the AAC or PAC or B12 with this team. We would be dreading matchups against Oklahoma St., TCU, and Oklahoma or USC, Oregon, and Washington or even Houston, Memphis, Navy, and South Florida with this year's team.
