The theory is that with a pro style with experienced players, you have a better
shot at beating more talented teams than you do with the spread.

To excel at the spread over highly talented teams, you need highly talented skill position players.

To excel at the pro style over highly talented teams, you need big, skilled linemen, TE's and good QB's. With WR's who can run precise routes and catch the freaking ball, and RB's who can run between the tackles.

Which of these schemes fits better with the types of players BYU can more readily recruit?
