I think we could have used playmakers in the passing game. Bushman showed promise, but it would be nice to have a Hoffman or a Collie or a Jordan Leslie as a go to number 1 reciever.

I don't think it was a no win situation for Detmer. I think what made it a no win situation was a lack of d1 experience as an offensive coordinator. The results speak for themselves. 2 years in and its been pretty bad. You can just tell when its a coaching issue. Its a coaching issue. Can he turn it around? I'd be willing to go one more year two tops at this rate.
