Again, are you sure TH was involved in making the hiring decisions? If not, why bring it up? Also, I wrote that I expect the offense to be 'much improved' not just improved over this year's product. IMO, it'll be substantial. By not retaining Detmer, you're saying that he can't or won't improve. IMO, Ty has shown a willingness to try a lot of different things this year to try and generate offense. He's not stupid or lazy. If it were my call, I'd absolutely retain him.
