In 2012, BYU's offense had suffered similar injuries (especially on offense) and had a more difficult schedule. They went 2-3 vs P5 teams, beat a team that finished the season in the top 20, and scored at least 45+ against any cupcake they faced. The OC at the time was Brandon Doman. He was fired after the season.
Detmer has a historically bad offense and he should be given a third year? Where were all of these fans when Doman was fired?
I think Detmer is great, but just not a great, or even Mediocre OC. No qualms with his being fired.
