I agree that Utah, UW, Oregon, USC and other PAC-12 programs get many LDS Poly kids we want. However, we also need to keep in mind that BYU is a much tougher academic school than all of them. Yes, I know USC may have a superior academic reputation, but I'm 100% certain that a football player at USC has to do considerably less work to pull a B- than a football player at BYU. Most BYU professors will not cater to athletes.

So truthfully, we have an even narrower group that we can target. We need great athletes who graduated in the top quartile of their HS who have roughly a 25 ACT score. At least I think that's what Bronco's criterion was. How many of the guys who sign with Utah or Oregon or Arizona meet that standard?
