He understands which concepts college QBs can grasp, and which ones are too complicated to install, because execution is the most important factor in a successful college offense. He also understands what works at BYU with its talent strengths and weaknesses, so he won't bring in some system that is a complete mismatch for BYU's personnel. He is familiar with much of the offensive talent at BYU, and (hopefully) he would bring back Anae 1.0 as he saw its success first hand as both a player and a coach at BYU.
