I also don't see how you get form his understanding those things to being a good OC who can get players motivated to execute an offense and perform at an exceptional level.  Whoever is hired, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove their worth.  But it is not obvious to me that Beck would be a step up from year 3 of Detmer.  And I support the demotion/firing of Detmer.
