Looking for a new head coach in the off-season while simultaneously trying to recruit is a death sentence.
Cut Pope loose now and have the replacement ready by April.
There really shouldn't be any doubt at this point that he isn't the guy so don't waste time waiting. He has not done a single thing to indicate he can succeed in the WCC much less the BIG 12
