I will be using Nudura ICF for the exterior walls, but I plan to use extra Rebar above all doors and windows.

I also had the trusses built to span the entire width of the house to avoid any issues, but of course I will still follow standard code for headers on interior walls. I am also hiring the mennonites to set the attic trusses. They seem to be sharp folks.

#2 I think you are right about the master. I might swap the guest bedroom upstairs and the master.

If you decide against moving the master upstairs, you can always move the door. Or put it behind a bookcase.
