Basically Lucid is desperately trying to get new customers. . .and struggling mightily.

I think Sandy Munro described Lucid best —
"Their [Lucid Motors] Electric motor system or the drive system is absolutely brilliant, the best there is out there. But it's expensive, and the rest of the car is outrageously expensive." And then Sandy goes on to say the cars are not flying out of showrooms and the CEO is getting paid 100's of millions for selling thousands of cars.

Just proof that the best product does not always win.
